A marble column capital depicting a villager milking a goat was recovered between the monumental gate of the Aphrodite Temple’s front courtyard and the entrance to the Sebasteion in the 2008 excavations.
This beautiful relief of villager milking a goat is thought to have been made in the 4th century AD (late Roman).
